Marlon Samuels nudges one fine |
Pune Warriors ease to second win
The margin of victory says 22 runs but Pune had it well in their hands right from the word go. Both Ganguly, captain of Pune and Dravid, captain of Jaipur have registered a victory today once again just like two days back and co-incidentally, by 22 runs.
Mohali had never had it going in their chase. Once again their top-order fared poorly. One noticeable thing was the poor running between the wickets. Mandeep Singh once again batted well for his 24 but not to the required level.
The lower order could never convert their starts even as the pitch had the odd bounce here and there. The 27-run over in the Pune innings has just proved the
difference.
Marlon Samuels is named the Man of the Match. That's all we have. It's been Pune's night once again and they looked top notch. Join us tomorrow for the match between Mumbai and Deccan at 2000 IST. Till then, farewell!
