"Pietersen and Jayawardene join Delhi Daredevils camp"

Delhi Daredevils' batting got a huge boost on Sunday when Kevin Pietersen and Mahela Jayawardene joined the side after finishing their Test commitments for England and Sri Lanka respectively.
Pietersen was delighted with the positive start Daredevils had made in IPL-V. “I know we have a good unit and am happy that we got off to a good start in Kolkata,” he said after arriving here from Colombo.
“I am looking forward to spending some time with the young cricketers in Delhi.”
The explosive English batsman was also happy to know that paceman Umesh Yadav would be available for selection for Daredevils' first home match, against Chennai Super Kings at the Ferozshah Kotla on Tuesday. In the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday, Yadav had walked off the field due to cramps.
Daredevils' vice-captain Jayawardene was optimistic about the side's chances.
“It will be good working with some wonderful cricketers with so much collective experience. T.A. Sekar (team mentor) had
been telling me for a while before the auction that he was keen for me to turn out for Delhi Daredevils. I am hoping to do my best,” said the Sri Lankan captain.
“I know the Delhi Daredevils fans would have liked the Colombo Test to end in three or four days so that we could play last night's game against RCB. But KP and I had other ideas,”
